OMG yes!! I love them, and ngl, I kinda started listening after endless references by dan and phil and the phandom. Halsey is queen, I love her.

I love birdy, I don't think I'm as good as her, she's just amazing, but I will try though. Thanks
You like Dan and Phil too?? Are we the same person haha :'). I heard Miss Jackson a while ago but yeah same I hadn't listened to the rest of their music until relatively recently when I watched the music video for Emperor's New Clothes after seeing the phandom fangirling about it, and my life spiralled downhill from there...in a good way... Kind of...
Keep working at singing! You have a really nice tone (if that's the word for it)

Ohmy god, they are the reason i fail my exams loool. Emperor's new clothes had a very strange yet interesting video. It was fascinating.

Thank you! I know i don't have the most powerful of voices, and that concerns me.

I'm sixteen, so not TOO young. Hopefully, it'll develop further. plus, I have chest congestion, so when I'm not singing, i'm coughing

I love alt.rock so, 30 seconds to mars, coldplay, Evanescence, Radiohead, Linkin Park, Lorde, Florence and the machine etc.

I also like Melanie Martinez a lot, but, unsure of which genre she falls under.
Oh right, that's still quite young in singing terms. Ah fair enough, get well soon

Cool taste. How about Viva La Vida then

Yeah, i guess, but she hasn't blown up, or been given the recognition she deserves yet.

There is one other singer whom I think deserves recognition as much as Halsey, and that's Melanie Martinez. Her album Crybaby=genius.
The number of times I've listened to Dollhouse on repeat...

Seems like one of the things you struggle with is having clear transitions between different parts of the song. Practicing with some of The Strokes' work might help with this. After skimming through this thread, I don't think you'll think much of them. However, they're technically brilliant. If you can master their songs, you'll have the correct pacing and timing for
    anything else.

I really want to know if I sing well. I know I don't have the best of voices, but I love music, so much that I can't dream of doing anything else. I just really want to sing for the rest of my life.

Here's a casual recording of JUST my voice. Please do give your honest opinion, and advise me:

I don't wanna know what her fanbase will look like when she blows up. Some artists I consider popular aren't that large xD
