so I was wondering how high this was from when I did maths gcse (edexcel, nov 13) and that was 169 so not much different aha...

guys, I just did A level maths and the boundaries for one of the papers was 70/75 for an A*, which was one the highest I've seen for that.. I got an A* - and yet for my bio a level, grade boundaries were lower than usual but I only just scraped the A I needed for uni by a couple of marks

the thing is, if everyone's done well - you probably have too

the flipside is that if everyone's done badly, likelihood is you did too (which just means the boundaries go down and you get the same grade so nothing to worry about there either)

you can't know exactly how you did until tomorrow morning so just try to get some sleep and not worry too much

I don't see what the fuss is about. You can still lose 30 marks in the papers, and imo if you lose any more than that you shouldn't really get the A* (and yes, I've seen the papers)

My friends said the paper was easy asf. Now, I'm confused - some people are dazzled at the boundaries.
Let me tell you guys one thing from experience, GCSE Maths examiners are the most lenient and kind people. They'll try to award you as many marks as possible lol. I was in shock when I got my result lool.

I don't know if anyone can relate to this but, for my maths result I only got a grade, but no raw mark or ums mark? Is this how it is meant to be or is this something I should notify my school about.

I think edexcel just give you your grade, because I always get the raw and ums mark with AQA exams but never with edexcel.
