Cazorla has pretty much been superbly playing both the CM and #10 role at the same time.

That is an exceptional deft touch there from Giroud for his second. Unluckily, I missed his first because I was making a coffee ffs.

Game over after 30 minutes. Shocking how many Arsenal fans don't rate Giroud.
    It's against Boro though

Doesn't matter who we're against, the goal remains the same

Arsenal finally look like they have depth, could do with a replacement for flamani next season but its definitely a welcome sight.

Quite ironic as he left us because he didn't want to play there. Everyone saw this coming.

I think that's the first positive thing about him you've ever said!

Giroud has actually improved loads since joining us, it's only cause he'll never be quite world class like Henry/Bergkamp/RVP that he gets slated (and he isn't a striker of their mould really).

Remember when Mata > Ozil was a thing?
Tbf mata was more about scoring goals but seems ozil is starting to add that now

He has been very good since his injury. Last season he had nobody to challenge for his place so he got complacent (as we're seeing now with Really Very Pointless and Falcrap), now he actually has to fight for it he's really stepped up.

Giroud 1 in 3 , guy is a nice striker to have.

You're not going to get much better returns than that unless you pay top top money taking a risk.

Yeah definitely, lack of competition has done in Uniteds strikers, but refusing to play Rooney there and the amount RVP/Falcao have declined are major contributing factors too.

Most people on here (and everywhere else tbh) were mocking United for selling Welbeck only a few months ago. Now he's showing why it was the correct decision to sell him. Give it a year or two and he'll be at somewhere like Everton or West Ham which is his level.

Rooney didn't show much when we did play him up front, would rather see him played in his best position which is a #10. He averaged something like 1 goal or assist per game last season in our ****test side for decades.

Wish we'd play a 4141 like Arsenal, or even a 433. Any one striker formation really.
