We've already taken our fair share of refugees. There are many countries that have taken a lower proportion of refugees with regard to their population than the UK.

    No I'm not.
I was responding to your comment which suggested that the majority of the refugees are rapists.

So how many would you let in ?

100k ? 200k 800k a million like Germany did ? or would you just have an open door and gladly watch new migrants show us the British people what multiculturalism looks like ?
If you hate multiculturalism so much, why are you using the Latin alphabet, an alphabet that originates in Italy and is thought to be derived from a variant of the Greek alphabet, which of course is possibly derived from the Phoenician one used in ancient Syria, Israel and Lebanon? And why are you using numerals that originated in India before being introduced to Arabia by merchants, which were then introduced in a modified form to Europe by returning Crusaders? And what about the abbreviation 'k', which stands for the Greek word 'kilo'? Or the word 'million', which ultimately comes from Italian? Or the word 'migrant', which comes from Latin? Or the word 'British', which comes from Latin and ultimately has Celtic roots? Or the word 'people', which comes from Old French? Or the word 'multiculturalism', which comes from three different Latin elements? Or the English language at all, in fact?

Was it? I did not know referring to an individual case was a suggestion that a majority do so. Are you suggesting most white British people are racist because Hazzer is?

I disagree, I think the wrong attitude is to feel guilty for your rapist being deported

    (Original post by Aph)
That is exactly the wrong kind of attitude
Suggested that you were accusing refugees of being rapists. Either that or you threw in a totally random comment which had nothing to do with the discussion at all just so it would confuse the matter and you could go "hur, hur. Look at me, I'm so smart." And "POOR READING COMPREHENSION!!!" You know that you make it impossible to try and have a debate or discussion with you because you just throw in total random ambiguous comments which could mean anything instead of speaking in plain English.

The inability of one to read news is not my concern, even upon clarification you seemed horrified by the idea that a "refugee" could possibly be a rapist despite all the evidence to the contrary and went for your own hasty generalisation to make accusations of racism.

I would also suggest you try speaking in plain English (or should that be playn Inglish?) before accusing others of not doing so. If you honestly want to believe that the only people who are rapists in the world are white be my guest, I assume you will not report any other rapes to the police.

Sadiq Khan increases his lead in the latest poll to 11% on first preferences and 20% after second preferences are taken into account. Boding well for him despite Goldsmith's attempt to label him as an extremist.

I never said any of those things. Yes there are rapists from all different cultures, that isn't the issue at all and I wasn't 'horrified at the point'

Also, there is a difference between spelling mistakes and speaking in such a vauge way with broad terms and mannerisms that no one can tell what on earth you are on about.

So why exactly is there an issue other than you making a string of assumptions. First assuming the rapist was non white, second assuming that the rapist isn't alone and almost all of their culture are rapists, and that whether there are one or many rapists is actually relevant.

A man doing well does not mean they are not an extremist or sympathiser or serial platform sharer. If I got a room full of people who don't care about sympathisers of terrorists or responsibility and can't think particularly hard, I.e. the electorate, they will go for what sounds best for them, whether it is or not

He's clearly not an extremist. He's fairly centrist and has been robust in opposing the extremist elements in Islam and was strong on gay marriage. Most of the people he's been occused of having connections with have been in his role as a human rights lawyer which makes the claim ridiculous. It would be like judging a criminal lawyer for working with criminals... everyone has a right to legal representation. Cameron yesterday accused him of sharing a platform with extremist 'gana' who as it turns out, was actually asked to and did campaign for the tories last year...

Goldsmiths tactics have been to play on the fact khan is muslim and portray him as an extremist, whipping up racial and religious tensions. He's been slated for it by numerous tories, including peter oborne who has said today he will be voting against the tories for the first time.

If it were straight cash I would, but I suspect I have more of an appreciation for specialist beer than the average person, so I don't (although I would have an obligation to share it with craft beer enthusiasts).

    Also I'm selfish.
