    I can't remember to be honest, but I didn't eat it - hence the trip to the Co-op today to get some new bread.
    The last lot of bread was bought last Friday, plus it had a 30% cheaper sticker on it (the equivalent of the yellow "reduced" labels in other stores), which meant it must have been close to its best before date then. So it lasted reasonably well!

    Oh. I only asked because Best Before is only a guide where you can go past it without killing yourself in the process. Whereas a use by can actually cause illness from eating it past the deadline...
