:lolwut: That never came up when I did Streetcar
I just have stupid questions to answer on scene one for tomorrow. I don't think it sybolises something that I can think of. Maybe just a technique to create tension/unease.

To anyone who is doing or has done A Streetcar Named Desire, what is the purpose of the cat screeching in the first scene? Just to create an uneasy atmosphere...or something else?
I think that it's mainly just used as a sound effect, but it could also purvey Blanche's anxiousness due to the reaction of the noise.

    Joker would destroy him :p:

Really? Do you know if he sent you one or not?
Yeah, he sent me a PM last night saying that he did send me one, but it could take a while. Alex in 'Clockwork Orange' is 15 :p: of course the Joker would destroy him.

Meh. No one knows what age the Joker is. :ninja:

Even if Alex was older :p: , The Jokers like amazing :flutter:

He has no special powers, just his unmatched sheer intelligence. He's not even insane. He's Super-Sane. He turns society upside down for the sheer pleasure of it. Completely fearless...just amazing.

I'm a Joker fan through and through :yep:
I take it you've read 'The Killing Joke'. The Joker doesn't really succeed in turning society upside down, as you can see from the ending of The Dark Knight.

    :lolwut:

I'm disgusted to be asked such a question.

    It's worth buying...several times :yep:

Least to say it was a critically acclaimed, almost universally acclaimed and 2nd highest grossing movie of ALL TIME.
When I saw it, I was amazed how it was less of a superhero movie, and more of a crime epic.

Exactly, I thought it was some gay superhero movie like Spiderman and Superman. That's why I never watched Batman Begins. I only watched The Dark Knight for the first time in the summer.

That's what...half a year after it was released.

It is a really deep film though.

Are you looking forward to Inception? Which is another film by the same director. It's rather strange.
Chris Nolan is a really good director. Memento, which is a movie that starts at the end and works backwards is excellent. Batman Begins is very good though.
