Yeah, this was in school btw, not of my choice really, i don't do cooking experiments...

I've mostly made fairy cakes at home :yep: I think I would attempt doing lasagne again but the greatest thing I made was a chocolate gateau :yep: was really nice.

I take it you do a lot of cooking, when did you start doing so?

I don't like Top gear, seems boring to me, I've watched some of strictly and I'm a Celebrity though :yep:

I watch things like Merlin (finished now ), stuff on cbbc and other kids channels, Atlantis and that's pretty much it i think, don't watch tv much.

Cakes are cool. Have you ever made cuppa-cake? :mmm:

The first time I made something for somebody apart from myself was when I had a girl coming over for dinner when I was 14. I decided to make bolognese I remember that the spaghetti was a little starchy but the bolognese was good so I was pleased with it for a first attempt.
Before then it was just simple things like omelettes.

If you want to start cooking then getting your mum to show you her recipe is a great way to learn while being supervised so you don't totally mess up and also a nice way to spend time together, I guess. :yep:

    :nah: No I haven't

I don't think I've made anything for anyone, when we cooked in school, i obviously went home and shred with my family though, but still.. (that makes me sound selfish) I have planned many times that I will make something (usually cakes) but end up not doing so...

My age  I think you cooked more than I at the time. Well done I'd probably get something wrong when making it but it would turn out nice or ok at the end. (almost always happens to me) When making the gateau (that was a nightmare) I was following the instructions and it didn't seem right because we had to use water I think which I did but then the mixture became runny so then I had to use more flour or something, i though it'd end up bad but it tasted really good.

Is a good idea, but I doubt I'll get myself to do.
