Firm offer: SOAS, to read Law. Offer: A*AA. Tried to adjust to UCL and KCL but all of their spaces are full

    Comments and reactions
My A* in English Lit nearly brought me to tears as I worked SO hard for it, and it was a bit of a shock considering that I got a B at AS. Very happy

my friend got BDD last year and ended up retaking this year, he now has A*AC( a couple ums off a B so they're remarking ) a gap year is not bad, a year out is nothing if you end up happy at the end of it

EDIT: He is now got a place at the uni he's wanted to go to for years
i am not going to waste another year with retaking or gap years, and i will definitely not be happy....i suffer from clinical depression and severe OCD already which caused me to fail at education and also waste my life...

repeating years will cause me to go on post traumatic depression, i cry everyday....none of this is my fault i never asked for it....all i wanted was to work hard with normal conditions like everyone else so i could go university, like the way i always dreamed at night since i was a little kid

I was really disappointed with my Chemistry result, I was almost certain that I got at least a B! All my exams are with Edexcel...Does anyone think there's much chance in me getting ABB/BBB with those As's? I'm dropping Biology. and I was relatively close to getting a B in Maths and Chemistry (5 and 6 marks away).

Insurance offer if received: CCC for Maths at Portsmouth

I'm so happy. I got my firm choice of Cardiff, after the exams I was 99% sure I was going to my insurance choice. Had a nice surprise seeing that I could still go to Cardiff. Happiest and proudest day ever!

    History - Predicted C / Achieved A
    Politics - Predicted A / Achieved C (damn Unit 2 brought it down. Had an A in Unit 1, got a D in Unit 2 - 2 marks off of a B overall REMARK!!!)

    Well done everyone!

Relieved to get my Firm as really didn't want to go to my insurance, might try adjusting but so far both Sheffield and Nottingham have told me their full when I tried to phone them. Might have another look around for possible adjustment but also happy with Exeter (just a little worried about the strength of the Engineering Dept.). Little disappointed to get a C in history, just messed up final A2 Exam worth 30% (got a D ), but ecstatic to get an A* in maths and A in physics (especially since my teacher said that I'd be lucky to get a C and I was crap at maths )

Obviously I'm delighted with the three As and not surprised at the B because coursework was great and the exam was pretty bad. General Studies isn't a real subject imo, just something we were unconditionally put in for by the school so I wasn't bothered at all!
