Its ok for them to be rude. It doesn't really bother me but what really bother me is the generalisation that I am getting. They think I am spoiled, am not practical, down to earth and cannot think like them. I don't wish to live in people who belong to well off background only, but this sort of thinking will not allow me to socialise with them anyways.
I've always found the non well off are more divisive than those who are well off. I'm happy to make friends with anyone, but THEY are the ones that judge ME for my family and not the other way around. So annoying.

Your first descriptor of yourself is 'rich' therefore i'm going to assume that you are a total ******** because there's about a 99% chance that this is accurate.

This. I also think this kind of parenting is vulgar. Sure, that's not your fault. But the point is that it reflects badly on your character even when you insist you are "down to earth" and "don't brag".

Also, the fact you cannot even see that you would be separating yourself from other students and recognising yourself as having some sort of superiority by having your own flat as opposed to joining other students in halls. And having a car in London when everyone else will sensibly use public transport even if they do have their own cars at home.

"though have visited UK many times as u would expect from a rich int student ;-)". Vulgar. Vulgar. Vulgar. Unnecessary, too. What was the point of adding the "as you would expect from a rich international student ".
Yeah even when I don't tend to be pretending everyone still thinks I am pretending.
Is it only possible to socialise if you are living in the halls?
For the last part, I started off expecting everybody to be cool with these things, and the fact I added a wink means I was posting it on a friendly tone but all of a sudden everybody started running after me trying to chop me off into small pieces for some reason. However, I apologise for that as it was my first thread and I didn't know people could be as hostile as this. I excuse for that now.

Money doesn't mean anything... as long as you have enough for your needs (which shouldn't really be frivolous). I really don't get people who hoard money. I would personally prefer to give a significant proportion of my wealth to reputable charities, so I feel like my life will have actually made a difference in the world.

I don't really discriminate between rich and poor. Though if you blag or point out wealth purposefully, people won't like you.

I suspected they were looking for attention but I don't really care. My opinion stands. I go to Bristol so I'm surrounded by people like this anyway.

You seem to care an awful lot…

Ps bet you're not this rude in real life.

I wouldn't judge you for your wealth but if you constantly brag about it then I'll treat you like how I treat other douche.

Have you ever travelled to the northern area of your own city "Lahore". People of that area can't afford to cook food for three times a day, and according to you yet they go to LUMS to taste uni education. LOL
Not only the rich go to LUMS. And yeah there are poor all around the world , not only here. What most you can do about them is give them charity and act nicely with them. That's how the world is. Not everybody has the same income and there are different classes present in the society.

I was in my first year, admittedly I only got one car from my father, my mother got the other one and I paid for the moto without either's consent. Still got a house and everything else in first year and have been sustained until a year ago when I started my own business.

You'll be chump change in London. Trust me.
That's waayyy better if i wouldn't be frowned upon for these things.

BTW, you didn't answer to my any post because you don't have the balls to face the fact.
I replied to all the posts dude. What do you expect should I sit in front of computer all day ? OH MY, what do you want yaar?

Ay it's fine being rich, you were lucky in the birth lottery but others are less fortunate. I was abandoned by my parents basically (put in care , homeless at one point) but I got myself out of that situation & making a good go of my life, I might be jealous that you have more riches than me, but I'm not jealous of your achievements.

I wouldn't discriminate or anything if you were a nice person, and provided you don't brag about it. But to an extent I would feel resentful, a lot of students in the UK struggle to cover basic living costs without getting a part time job, having a car is a rarity too, so you having it all given to you might make some people a bit spiteful. But then again if you're fortunate enough to have parents willing to pay for all that then lucky you, just don't go on about it to people and make sure people know you're grateful, a lot of people would do anything to have as much financial security at uni as you're going to have.

Means I have to stay in the people of the same background only ? Other students don't tend to accept me anyways.
This is your own assumption, we do not choose ppl's background when making friends

I meant he has been dealing with international companies and calculating it, not for me. lol why do you people talk like this.
LOL, your father is so rich but he can't afford to hire an accountant/someone who can do this type of trivial office tasks.

I didn't expect this from the people of a developed country. They talk extremely rude, even when I am tolerating all the abuses hurled by them, even on my father as someone in this thread didn't even refrain from targeting him. I feel people are forced to stay in the background they come from. Not good for a country like UK.

Instead of creating opportunities for poor people, you want them to depend on rich class so that rich can use them like puppets.

More than 100 people of developed countries especially UK don't rape a single woman in an open area like Pakistanis have done to Mukhtara Mai. Stop watching Hollywood melodrama movies, and spend some time on reading local newspaper.
