Im proper baffled... I got 3 emails by imps today.. one about generic admission info, one about invite to interview information (without an actual invite???) and one with the "link doesnt work" crap

I applied to imperial last year with 5.9 5.5 3A and i got an interview invite in late Jan.
The only people who got an interview invite in december where those in band 1.
It makes absolute no sense to invite for interview band 2/3 applicants first (i got 5.9 5.9 3A this year so im band 2) so I genuinely think the email is *******s. The whole point of the banding system is to prioritise the interview order!!

bad error on imperials behalf..i can't believe they are leaving us hanging without clarifying

Hi Thank you! I dont want to say what I got exactly but it was a very average score so I thought that I would get rejected. But as I said, I applied to the grad course so maybe they do things differently (this is the first year they are doing it like this)

I got a different email which read: (this was followed up with an email saying the link was broken or something)

I am emailing you to let you know that Imperial College London has just sent you an Invite to Interview to potentially study Medicine. If you have not received this email please look in your Junk/Spam folder as your system settings may have filtered it away from your inbox.

Please read all the information contained in the email as well as the interview selection survey as this information is designed to support you in your choices as well as providing information regarding your interview day.

Congratulations on getting to this stage and we look forward to receiving your interview choices within the next 7 days.

    Kind regards,

I just got an 'official' email inviting me to interview, but when i tried to click the link it malfunctioned and wouldnt work.

So I called them up and they said theres been another mistake with the sending out of links for booking interviews

I also asked whether the interview invites were legitimate or a mistake and they just said 'we cannot confirm it' so the interview invites might not be real then?
