Okay I think I asked this before but clearly I forgot...I apologise

So when calculating time from velocity. It actually represents 1/4 of the time thus you got to multiple it by 4
Please correct me if I am wrong, thanks

^_^

Please define critical, light, heavy and overdamping please
I keep muddling them up

Does anybody know what we need to know from AS? The A2 exams being synoptic but what does this actually mean? Do I need to relearn things like moments, Young's Modulus, Hooke's law? Because I remember nothing.

I'm on the same

I got 20/20, 5/10 and 8/10 (this one though was unfair imo but ah well)

Gonna redo those 2
I got 20/20 on that quant lmao.

What would you say that is lowest marks that you feel would still have a reasonable grasp at an A* on the coursework.

Since 36 = 48 UMS and 40 = 60 UMS with the curve being so bad as it is.

I meant what is the lowest mark you think one could get on the cwk for an A* to be possible, but I suppose that AS may be carried to, silly question ffs.

Anyway, do you know if we can be asked about the Pressure law or Charles' law.

Oh right I see. Well if you got higher than a B at AS. Then you could get a U (30/60) in cw but get an A* overall

Oh right I see. Seems impractical but it is what it is.

Have you covered all the content to g485+g486?

Anybody done all the Newtonian World past papers? I've done each one at least twice. Would you say, just keep doing them or use some of the legacy papers?

What?! Why would you do them all already, now you won't have anything for exam... And it's a bit early.

No point doing them again

Maybe have a look at other boards then...

Haven't seen that aside from in the CGP guide.

Really easy though, those kinds of questions are free marks

Do you think that the trend in the A2 papers are that they are getting harder/easier.

Is it worth doing other boards questions if all from OCR are done?

Done most of them, I have generally found that in the tests the p1v1/t1 last parts of these questions are generally tricky?

Maybe, but I wouldn't burn through papers. I haven't even started yet, wanna save them for exam because they're more representative

Ours will be harder for sure!
