    Same for me. It must be possible to have a social life sans alcohol, there will be enough different people there who don't drink I expect.

    I don't have anything particularly against it, it's just having seen what people are like when they are drunk, and knowing I have slightly addictive tendencies, I prefer not to risk it. It doesn't seem really worth it to me for a purely social convention.

    Yh fair enough - I definitely get the taste thing lol and I should probably care about the damage it's probably doing but.. Maybe I'll care when I'm 25 and the lasting damage has already been done loool
