    I blame Corbyn.

Have I become famous for the commitment-phobia, now? Like, is this now considered to be my 'thing?'

I can't stand much of the left (there goes the attraction), especially on TSR, so one would naturally get that impression. :holmes: But I'm not any kind of conservative with respect to politics, though I am turning into quite the traditionalist in private life. The left, however, annoys me to no end.

I'm not telling you. I'll tell you this though: I voted for the Liberal Democrats using both my votes in the recent Assembly election here in Wales - makes me very sad that not only did the candidate I voted for in my constituency not win, the list vote made no difference either, since they lost all but one of their seats (the leader's seat).

Blaming Corbyn for capitalism? :toofunny: Your Corbyn digs have gotten rusty. :holmes:

You said it. :hand: Commitment-phobia and grammar Nazism -- what a catch. :moon:

I will hold judgements on attraction until you answer whether I'm included in this dislike of the left on TSR. :hand: The ego is a beautiful thing. :moon: So, when you say the left, are referring more to the people as opposed to the ideology? :holmes:

Fair enough. :yep: I know some people prefer not to say when it comes to voting matters.

Liberal Democrats would be the natural centre-left choice, if you were to go solely on political orientation. :holmes: But :console:. The Lib Dems would certainly seem to be a dying breed. :erm:

Well, he does propose the worst of capitalism to achieve socialist ends (which is the rank opposite of the Nordic utopias, ironically) - printing money to pay for infrastructure? Really? :slap:

    I am .

No, you're not, but then we don't talk much about politics, so we never know. I'm referring to both the people and the ideology, to an extent. Though I suppose it depends on what you mean by ideology, since 'the left' is an umbrella term covering several. There's a wonderful book by Nick Cohen called What's Left? that sums up my feelings about the left.

The great irony of the Lib Dems is that they prove, despite their commitment to PR, and with each passing election, that the British people are too immature for a voting system that would make permanent coalition government inevitable. :moon:
