Like I said, I am a beginner and I am still learning the Quran.

How long have you been studying the Quran for? You seem very educated about the matter. Thought I'd ask you about how you're finding Tajweed.
I don't need to 'study' the quran' to know Islam promotes discrimination and inequality

But tell you what here a chance for you If I can show you just one example of discrimination in Islam will you concede the argument?

I don't see anywhere in the report where is says "right wing" men nor do I understand why that is either true or relevant? Ah we live in such a pathetic world, using stupid minority acts to hate on a whole group how sad.

P.S I don't even know the different between left and right wing tbh, all I do know is that it's pretty split generally so I doubt everyone on one side are monsters.

What? You could have had me fooled.

How are you so knowledgeable Islam if you haven't studied the Quran? It's a fundamental aspect of being a Muslim.

It's like trying to analyse Shakespeare without reading his works.

Because it's only part of Islam

I see you are too scared to accept the challenge though

This thread is a great example of Godwin's law.
I think we need another law which describes the fact that every internet discussion is only 2 degrees away from the mention of Islamic terrorism

RIGHT WING TERROR: Smears poo on 4 year old girl (Ew, disgusting, reprehensible), 1 proper recent terror attack (Brevik)

ISLAMIC TERROR: Run over and kill around 80 people with a truck (Disgusting, Reprehensible, Evil), weekly murders, honour killings, and bombings.

Also, 20 people to 1 4 year old girl?

I'm fairly disgusted that your inflammatory post got 19 likes.

This isn't a matching up game, we aren't comparing atrocities or weighing them up against each other. Do you honestly imagine that anyone who feels for this little girl doesn't equally feel for the poor people who got murdered in Nice? Why did you even post this comment, do you feel that people would only post sympathy for this if they have a distorted view of the world? Wtf, literally.

If she won't, I will. Please provide your quote, along with all the historical context necessary to understand the quote within the times it was given and the religious parenthetical information necessary to understand the quote within the context of the Koran.

Please provide your bibliography as well so that we can recognize you are not simply using a scriptural railsplit as an argument nor are you ignoring historical context. After all, we want to truly understand why it's so terrible.

Full disclosure: Something like this, to truly prove your point, would require a thesis-sized novel. I do not expect you to agree to writing the several hundred pages necessary to truly prove your point since I feel you probably simply want to slam Islam.

But if you do it, I promise I will read it. If you do not agree to it, please stop trying to throw quotes most of us have read on here a dozen times already. Just say what you mean and what you want rather than vaguely trying to insult a group of people.

    I will.
OK to confirm all I have to do is show firstly Islam promotes inequality between its follows and then I can show discrimination to others yes?

I've already answered why I posted it earlier in the thread.

    A horrible thing to do.

There's not much more to say than that, so I'm not really sure what's in the 9 pages of replies.

You've taken a simple argument and made it so unnecessarily complex.

    1. I never said 'ethnic cleansing' is unique to right wing.

    2. Far right does not imply total dedication, it just means that it adheres to policies of the far right. Right =/= far right, they are distinct areas of the spectrum, its not as if you need a certain level of commitment to the right wing policy to be far right. They are two distinct things. Nazism majorly consists of far right policies, far right isn't extremely right policies, its a set of different things along the same side of the political spectrum.

    3. Nazis are far right, as agreed by almost every expert on the matter, regardless of whether or not they're 'traditional' or not. End of.
    1. You presented the Nazis policy of ethnic cleansing as evidence of their being a far right movement, implicitly saying that ethnic cleansing is a policy exclusive to the far right. Otherwise, in the context of this conversation, it was a meaningless point to raise.

    2. Far right policies are by definition, more extreme versions of right wing policies. For instance, whereas a right wing person may be comfortable with the idea of a social hierarchy with a significant gap between the richest and poorest, a commonly held far right policy is the active encouragement of such a divide. Similarly, whereas a right wing person may believe in reducing the level of immigration into their country, a far right winger may oppose all immigration into the country. And also, a far right political movement most certainly does oppose damn near every form of socialism, it's pretty much part of the definition.

You've said that a lot, but you've yet to say anything with regards the multiple Nazi policies which are fundamentally socialist in nature. The Nazis advocated ever increasing state intervention in all areas of the economy and society at large, opposed any semblance of a free market and usurped the power of the church (His economic policies in particular were positively Keynesian; they were more left wing than a lot of what New Labour put forward). All of this was decidedly left wing, especially so in the context of the 1930s. You can't be far right, and simultaneously advocate left wing policies. They are diametrically opposed, it's a complete contradiction.

    3. As I've said, simply labelling them 'far right' is a ridiculous oversimplification of the true nature of the Nazi party, and lends itself to a more general ridiculous oversimplification of politics. The nazi party was deeply authoritarian (state intervention, a left wing ideal), curbed the free market (government controlled market, a left wing ideal) and believed the state should look after its people and rolled out comprehensive social welfare (a left wing ideal). Which is hardly to say that Hitler was a far-left extremist. In reality, what this shows is that the left-right view of politics is insufficient, and falls apart when trying to consider those who belong to the political extremes.

It's only a real challenge if I'm being presented with a strong, well-informed argument by my challenger.

Since you haven't studied Islam or opened a Quran (googling quotes out of context doesn't count), I'm under no obligation to be schooled by you on a matter you are not well informed on.

They were targeted because they were wearing headscarves and Asian clothes.

Why would you think I've not read the Quran? But as we know Islam is more than the just the quran it is sharia and the hadith as well But no you're under no obligation to be schooled by me (and you would) in the fact that Islam promotes discrimination to both it's followers and to non-muslimsEven the House of Lords in the UK have said Sharia is incompatible with Human Rights given the fact it is discriminatory https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...igion-islamBut I do understand why you wouldn't want to learn the truth but would rather remain ignorant to the facts,

That is a horrific thing to do and is in no way justifiable. I have to say as well that I find it absolutely appalling how some people on here are actually trying to justify racist attacks and blame the victims rather than the perpetrators. It's totally disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yet Gordon Brown inflicted his religious laws on the country that are discriminatory and deprive us of our most basic human rights, freedom of thought and bodily autonomy and no one batted an eye.

    This is horrible. Poor kid.

On a side note, I find it interesting how you assume they're 'right-wing'. I guess categories only apply when their ideologies don't match yours.

Like I've said. I'm very happy to learn more about Islam by someone who is knowledgeable and well-informed about Islam.

And it looks like you've jumped from a little girl getting terrorise to Sharia Law. I don't want Sharia either. I'm no expert on the matter (like I said, I am still learning about Islam) and I suggest you do the same and educate yourself on the matter.

If you have difficulty translating the Quran, then English versions are available. Although it's very difficult to understand even with English translation (imo).
