Some set a cut off point, so look them up in prospectuses, websites etc
I thought they would but I have looked at all the unis I'm considering and none seem to say anything about it.

I did want to go to Cardiff but I think they use the UKCAT a bit on the initial phases and they want the top 9 GCSEs as well. My school only let us do 8 which means I'm only just meeting their points criteria there...

for all those who have done it, how many questions do you normally answer on each section. ive done a the verbal reasoning on the website and managed to answer 26questions and got 19 right which is kind of depressing 19/44.

When i done it last year I done all of them lol, but then again when I see that time is running out I just click random ones and leave those ones up to chance :p: So I spose I didn't really "answer" all of them...but a guess is better than blank answers

Don't worry about only answering 26, that was a practice afterall, do some more and you should be able to work faster and hopefully get more right

hi does anybody know how keen leeds or manchester are on the UKCAT?
If you have taken the test, how was it, was it less difficult than the questions in the book, stressful, annoying becuase of the whiteboard and pen etc?
Also did any of you mangane to get a good score with leaving quite a lot of questions out?

I don't think they give out paper. They gave me a whiteboard of which I scribbled a lot of stuff down in one corner. It must have made me look really mad.

Hope it went well today for you.

I wouldn't call that screwing up tbh. Anything around 600 is good so well done

What did you get in each section if you don't mind me asking?

I got
540, 610, 580, 590

If only I guessed 10 questions I missed in the abstract section then I would of made the 600 mark! It's tough for me though, i haven't got much options studying a degree with no chemistry and having no bio/chem a levels.

Surely you can do foundation medicine if you have no bio or chem?
