What would v^2 be? What's the rule for doing a power of a power? Thanks
It would be (x+3)^12. You simply multiply the powers together

How about if I make it equal [tan(x)]^-1
and I differentiate that...

You can write them as 1/sine and 1/cos and use the quotent rule or however you spell it

They're also in the formula booklet.

stupid me, I didnt see it was dx/dy and I remember making that mistake last time
