Hey again! Just a tip, I looked at Crown Place too but a few things put me off.. They studios aren't amazing and they don't provide you with a TV in your room or TV License and that's like £150 extra to pay :/ awks.

Philharmonic were okay when we went to have a look around on the Open Day but we went to Vita Student in the same day and saw the difference. So nice and newwww I am looking forward to having my studio cleaned once a week - lazy LOL
You do get a TV in studio rooms in crown place and most people use the TV without paying for TV license. The studio is small but not really small, i think its a good size.

How much do Vita charge per week? Also did you take any pics?

I need help as I'm currently panicking

I applied for accomodation 2 months ago and it says that my application has been submitted

Due to financial reasons I've changed my mind - I no longer wish to stay in a studio and would like to change my 3 choices to single rooms instead

Is this possible? I've never really been sure about how the whole process works
Hi,

The best thing to do here would be to give our friendly accommodation team a call on 0151 795 0319, they'll be able to help you .

Hey didn't take any pics, sorry! I'm sure there's loads on their website if you have a look. We did before we went and it looks even better in real life haha! Not too sure on price, we paid something like £140/£150. Defz have a look around, may aswell haha

Just had a look and they look great. What V rating did you get? I'm wondering if the 2V rooms are good? Also how long would it take to walk to campus?

Do you have a conditional or unconditional offer?

What is the social aspect of the on-campus halls like? I want the opportunity to get to know as many people as possible (other than people on my course) and am a bit worried that in the on-campus halls you might be isolated in your flat and only really meet the 3-7 people you share a kitchen with, rather than off-campus student villages where you share a floor with up to 21 other people and all have meals together etc.
Can any current students help me out?

I am under the NHS course and will hopefully be starting this September at UoL. Unfortunately NHS student don't get as much loan and bursaries and it's very hard to pay for on-campus accomodation . Anyone else experienced this or is going through the same financial crisis? Surely I'm no the only NHS student undergraduate that is going through the same financial dilemma? I could either get a house and share with older student I've never met before BUT I'd rather not especially if I want to socialise with similar age group. Asking for advice if I do move in a a house, will it be different social experience for me good or bad? Due to personal matters, my parents are unable to support me and i will solely rely on my student loan and bursary.I've also rang Uni and unfortunately there is nothing they can do which is a shame as I have put them as my firm and I do want to go there, but accommodation is being a pain.

Yeah they are so nice, this is where im choosing to live next year! My friends lived in it this year and loved it. So close to Uni of Liverpool and town and the rooms are a decent size for the price you pay!

Wow. I posted this group nearly four years ago now! Such a journey. Sadly Dale Hall on Carnatic is closed now... I graduated last July with a 2:1 BSc in Psychology (hons). I had such an amazing journey and made some friends for life. They will always be the best years of my life! Go in with an open mind and you will be fine. Good luck!!!!

I think nobody really knows about it because they are private halls, not advertised through any of the uni's or anything. There is a a good mixture of second years and third years in it too.. like friends that meet in first year uni then rent out a whole flat together. They are so easy to make friends in though and they are proper safe etc, onsite security and nobody can get in unless they are with someone who lives there. Literally a few minutes walk away from the library too so its handy when you're revising to just be able to go home for dinner so easily etc!

Does anyone know how many people share each kitchen/living room in Crown Place?
It varies, some live with up to 7, some live with as little as 2/3
