Has anyone got an answer to the first question, just out of interest? To me it sounded like we were disproving Newton's third Law, I just sat there thinking the student was right and it was some sort of evil twisted trick question. Ik it probably has a logical solution but no clue what.

Just babbled about extrapolating the graph since a gdt and y-int were given a val of min temp can be deduced by continuing the graph and obvs you cant have -ve volume so this must be the min temp possible
I said that if you were to keep drawing the graph in the negative x direction T would reach -273C at when volume=0 which is equal to 0K which is zero absolute temperature and you cannot have a Temperature lower than 0K. I'm sure in the question it refereed to absolute temperature so thats what I wrote

Which part are you saying yes to?
All A2 units

so ISA G484 and G485
and yes is an average across them all
So you could get 85% and 95% and still get A*

Apparently there's a teacher who's gonna do it

L'Evil Fish said earlier that they were watching this thread, which I assume means they have a TSR account so you could PM them
Thanks, found it.
Got about 45 marks based on it so not as bad a so thought

I really don't see how this exam could have higher grade boundaries than last year.

How did you find it overall?
I think I made a lot of silly mistakes and stuff led with the 6 marker at the end of Q1

Hardly any of the standard questions came up.. What are OCR playing at? Literally.. I feel like 75% of the G484 specification wasn't even touched upon in that exam.. Where were all the definitions for additional marks? Where was Brownian motion? Kinetic theory of gases & assumptions? Experiments? CIRCULAR MOTION?

Ah I'm hoping they make the bigger unit easier since its worth more.. Seriously can't get over how every single OCR science exam has been a mockery.. One or two are fine to test your understanding.. But every one of them doesn't really give many people a chance
