# Edexcel A2 C4 Mathematics June 2015 - Official Thread Watch

okay cool. Why is the integral of 2cosec2x Intanx? don't remember coming across this
it is in the formula booklet ... (if you need it which is unlikely)

the proof requires further maths (little t identities)
2. What formulas do we need to know for differential equations? ( cone, sphere etc.)
3. I think I'm the only person aiming for a high fail in this exam tomorrow :P
4. Edexcel will be like

Substitute u = 2x and du=2dx
Then multiply cosec(u) by [cosec(u) + cot(u)]/[cosec(u) + cot(u)]

Substitute p= cosec(u) + cot(u) and dp=...

It all works nicely. Then you just have to re substitute to get back to x
6. Is a D in A-Level maths any good? :/
7. good luck for tomorrow everyone! x

They'll get you a lot of "ayy you got the D" jokes.
9. Can anyone help me or point me into some help on:

Differential equations... Desperate here, have no idea how to even comprehend them.

Integration by substitution... I get it, but it doesn't come to me.

Tricky vectors questions like in last years paper.

This is me right now
11. I swear if this exam is hard, i will go down to edexcel and test all of their chins with a swift uppercut

So you want us to tutor you on the whole of c4? Not going to happen man. Especially at this time of night. You should've worked at school/college instead of waiting until now. If you want help then ask specific questions where I'd be happy to help you!
16. It's quite ironic considering my Dad is the head of maths at my school, yet I freaking suck at it...

I get stuck in differential equations too haven't really covered that chapter

just keep doing past paper questions I guess?

I'm not entirely sure if that's an insult, or if it's merely a statement of fact :P
