I thought it said the bound was pi?

pi/2 cuz u are using r=7cos theta
I started doing the expontential version of sin x but it looked complicated. So i did IBP twice. Just didnt then workout the bloody constant fs. Would that be 1 or 2 marks dropped?

wouldnt your answer be left with imagninary terms..?

Huh?

Which method?

1. Double IBP
2. Treating it as 1st order ODE and using auxiliary equation, like in M5 Chapter 1.
3. Exponential form of sin, which Mathemagician suggested.

I did this too, I'm fairly sure it didn't give a range

I remember checking and there was no range. But i still did it within the principal argument to π
Where is everyone finding the answers?
How much was question 4 worth?
Why is everyone acting like the exam happened, it's tomorrowww for meee. da***

This is not foundation paper 2. This is A level further maths, further pure 2.

Holy.
I never thought I'd have to ask this but.... If u get below an E (40ums) does that mean u automatically get 0 UMS and the module counts as unclassified (same as u never writing it) which would lead to u having only 5 not 6 of the modules necessary for FM so u don't complete the a level or can u get like 38 UMS and still complete the a level?

Did you sit an FP2 paper today?
Original post by Insight314
That's what I did!

TSR, can you ****ing stop scaring the **** out of me about some double IBP easy **** which is worth 7 marks..

Lol tbh I wouldn't have thought of that in the exam. You could have done it by double IBP (got down to e^2x sinx) and then replacing with the original integral. No worries :h: Well done on getting it

How much was question 4 worth?

Part A was 4 marks
Part B was 1 mark
Part C was 7 marks
If you are talking about the integration question that is

Damn... how many marks (approximately) would you say would be lost because of doing that?

Yeah thanks😭😭😭
