I am thinking of applying to Durham too, for Law. :hmmmm2:

But the course at Exeter looks good, with a third year abroad. :daydreaming:

Oh well...

Apply to Durham so you can see me! haha JK
You could apply to Durham and then add Exeter though in your choices.

Erm well first I wanted to apply for medicine, but when it came to applying last year, I became sceptical, and thought I wasn't enjoying sciences as much as I would have liked to have done.

I am generally good at essay-writing stuff as I also did AS History last years and did quite good in it. So basically my strengths lie in essay-based subjects like History and English. So I thought it might be better to do a degree in Law or History? :dontknow:

So I think a gap year is what I need - I can think it thoroughly, prepare for LNAT and get some legal work experience to maximise my chances of getting into a good university like Nottingham, Durham or Exeter?

Yeah, I would have to pay the fees, :sigh: but meh.... I am not really bothered. :nothing:

So long as you're sure about going into law, that sounds like a good plan. Why so unhappy seeming about it?

Just the thought of an unproductive gap year really. I am looking for a job and applied to a few places but got rejected...  :nothing:

I've never had a job before. :sigh: Also when you know everyone will be going to uni, you kind of feel left out... :shifty:

Anyway :crossedf:

Good luck lonely!
You know, lying in CV is not really that bad. I mean, just don't make it too obvious. A friend of mine got a job even though she didn't have any experience at all.

Loz, I think I'll apply there, as I am liking the sound of their course structure.

I've never been there, so don't really know about the city, but certainly uni has a very good reputation.

Thanks Kristina.

Haha I would rather avoid it tbh for the fear of getting caught out. :teehee:

I do have a feeling though that law is taught in Truro (Cornwall)
