    Good but overrated.

Loses its dark humour towards the end which is what made it so great.

Game of Thrones is brilliant, but it's too inconsistent. First 3 seasons are gold though.

Been offered a placement year to go along side my degree in a fairly decent pharmaceutical company. The problem is that it's on an industrial estate, about 5 minutes from my home, so I'd end up back living with my parents, in the run down, very little going for it, town that I grew up in.
I love living on my own in a big(ish) city and I think going back home for a year would be a massive step back socially and a year where I loose out on my youth.

In a world where jobs aren't easy to come by, am I crazy for thinking of turning it down?

    Potentially..

Why not look for placements elsewhere too? It isn't too hard to get a placement year - organisations tend to love placement students because they're free, and they tend to be hard working too.

A year is a long time though, so perhaps try to find something more relevant to what you want to do?

Nah, the placements for my course are all a year long and salaried (15-18K pa), and they're quite competitive.
This is the last placement I applied for as if I don't get one I'll have to sort out accommodation for staying at university next year, so time is of the essence.
I'm hoping that they can offer me a role just for 3 months over the summer, but there's no guarantee.

Accept it then, paid placements are ****ing hard to get.

Assuming you've been given a timeframe to accept, I'd try and apply for as many as possible if you still can

But definitely don't turn it down

I got into it last year when my brother starting watching it. Decided to watch it after my AS exams. Saw Emilia Clarke's tits in the first episode and was hooked from then on in. The storyline and the acting are pretty good aswell.

True Detective season 1. The three main females characters are all 8.5+/10.

Don't understand why/how people still watch Suits tbh

    Biggest mistake you've made.

The Wire and Prison Break season 1 is the greatest television we may ever witness.
    True Detective season 1 fool.
