I applied to read Management ... and the first offer was given out last year on December 14 (a Wednesday) .... so i guess I don't have to worry about any decision made in the next couple of weeks! :lolwut:

Actually the 14th was a Friday. Our equivalent this year should be Friday 12th. On that day we will probably see the last offers before the new year.

Lets hope we don't get rejected next week, and get an offer on the 12th!!! Would be kind of cool to check track while at Oxford and see an offer!

If they aim to reply within 2 months of getting your application, and next week is going to be a rejection it's not looking too good for a lot of us.

The 2 months rule is very informal (to the point of it being incorrect). Many people last year applied before the Oxbridge deadline, and a lot didn't here till March/April.

Course: LLB Law M100
Date of UCAS sent: 13 Oct '08
Date of Offer: 21 Nov '08
Offer Details: Conditional AAA (Math, Econs, Law) and Pass (Accounting); fee status must remain as Overseas (I'm taking this as a not-so-subtle hint that I'm being accepted for my money as international students pay higher fees Well dignity be damned, who cares how I get in, as long as I do!)
