Seriously? They know 2 days in advance?
Might have to pay my maths teacher a home visit...

Don't the schools themselves receive them a week prior?

They have to process and all sorts. It depends on the place to be honest. Some of them never find out and the sneaky ones can probably know Tuesday/Wednesday.
It comes down to how well they are liked by the office staff to be honest.
My Mum is a teacher and knew on the Wednesday last year. She got a list of them all as she was their head of year. Normal teachers just find out by request I think

grr its so unfair that they know before us. my friends mum is a science teacher at school, i bet she'll find out for her before thurs.

i'm gunna avoid eye contact with all my teachers til i open my result cos i dont want to ruin the surprise [good or bad.] lol

This thread has brought back a memory! I did my GCSEs last year, after one of the Science modules (Jan exam) the head of year announced what I got in assembily(!) in front of the whole year group before we even found out what we got in the afternoon! Everyone just looked around at me.. so embarrasing.

You know you've done well when the person giving you the results gives you a smile. :wink2:
