Erm you can do a lot. Lots of unis accept them grades, unless your after a really subscribed course such as medicine...

You need to give us more information.

What would you have liked to do?

I'm after engineering, I live in london, most of the unis I singled out as possibilities are just mere mirages now :emo:

What decent unis will accept 3 Bs?

If you are prepared to live outside of London plenty. Did you check clearing vacancies for engineering?
Clearing

3Bs are pretty good, still do a lot with them
these A/s levels, cos you can pick up your mark at A2? with resits and getting a better mark

Reply 8

Queen Mary University have a lot of clearing choices for engineering. Check it out.

Yes but I don't know if there's a point. I worked my arse off to revise for the June AS exams, I thought worse case scenario would have been atleast AAB. How likely is it that I can pick up the grades for next year? I missed an A in one subject by 11 UMS, another by 6 UMS and the third by 4 UMS

Suicide's your best option.

I'm seriously contemplating it

You can do a lot with BBB! in London there are loads of places that require that grade range e.g Queen Mary, City University London, Royal Holloway, Brunel...and many more. Don't worry there are still plenty of options for you, just have a look around.

There's a course at Durham on clearing. Give it a shot.

A2 is harder, but it can happen, you just have to do better in exams, to push the mark up, you can try resits as well to bump up your mark, it can be done, your not that far off a A

Congratulations I think you did very well and should feel very pleased with yourself.

Those are pretty good grades, and this is only AS, you can improve by doing resits, and you've really high B's so if you resit like a module in each or something, you can easily pull it up to an.

You can do it, just don't give up!!

I, on the other hand have somehow got to find a way to pull up a C to an A!! :s-smilie:

BBB well done!!! As everyone has said they are good grades! Stick with clearing and you will find sommat =) good luck!!!

Thanks for the moral support guys. Didn't really want to take part in resits, but I guess that's imminent now
