does anyone know or could tell me...:
functions of essential amino acids (is this just proteins in general?)
functions of essential fatty acids

also...

role of antibiotics in treatment of infctious disease (we never did this in class - i have no didea what they're talking about)
differences in blood, tissue fluid and lymph...

Yes, the primary function of amino acids are in being the monomeric units of protein. Proteins' function is largely to do with their structure (primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary). Their main role is in metabolism (as enzymes), as well as signal transduction, and in binding sites - infact, protein is involved in practically every process a cell completes.

Essential fatty acids (like essential amino acids) are the ones which cannot be synthesised by the body, hence must be obtained in diet. These include omega-3 and omega-6. They are important to the immune system, help regulate blood pressure and help make essential compounds.

What do you want to know about antibiotics? The process by which they neutralise an infectious disease?
