UWE university, or Sussex university? which is better for Mechanical engineering?

I can't comment on the academic merits of either course, but I'm familiar with both UWE's Frenchay campus and Sussex's Falmer campus and if I had to spend three years studying at either of them and I'd certainly opt for the latter. Falmer is five miles from the centre of Brighton and is located on the edge of the South Downs -- an area of outstanding natural beauty. Frenchay is also five miles from the centre of Bristol, but is located next to sprawling retail and business parks and the MOD's Filton Abbey Wood complex -- an area of outstanding unnatural ugliness.
