I was reading a copy of New Scientist from a few weeks ago (the 22 June 2002 issue) about
consciousness, about "change blindness", which affects everybody and is a really quite
peculiar effect.

Go to: http://nivea.psycho.univ-paris5.fr/A...kayakflick.gif

and wait for the picture to load, and then see how long it takes you to spot the difference between
the two pictures.

Hmm, most other people I talked to on MSN seemed to have spotted it quite quickly too (although not
all immmediately, but quicker than me). I guess I'm more change-blind than most.

I wonder where the coalman is today.
