I am having trouble with a question on a paper I am doing. I think I have done it right, but want confirmation.

It is question 2(b) on this paper: http://www.aqa.org.uk/qual/gceasa/qp...W-QP-Jan04.pdf

So by mitosis you will have a copy of the diagram they give you - a pair of each chromosome adding up to 6.
By meiosis you will have only 3 chromosomes, 1 of each size/shape.

Thanks - got it right. It was meiosis I was unsure of - whether I should have one of each size/shape.

Hey , i've just been looking over mitosis, and i wondered if we have to know it in terms of early metaphase and late metaphase or just metaphase etc. This is for edexcel :-)
