Losing alot of weight good or bad?

Okay so here is the deal. In the last six months I have gone from being a size 14 weighing 11 stone 4 to a size 10 weighing 10 stone. I have had many people comment me on how good I look now. However I have also had many friends say how worried they are about how much weight I have lost in the six months. Should I be worried to for my health like my friends are or is it okay to lose this much weight in that amount of time?

Losing one stone in 6 months I wouldn't have thought is anything to worry about. Maybe they're just worried in case you continue to lost weight or something...

Yeah that could be it. I have always said to them how I fear getting fat so they could be worried about me going too far.

1 stone 4lbs in 6 months seems like slow weightloss if anything - don't worry!
That's a fine amount of weight to lose. Friends are always liable to worry about you, in a nice way. I'm sure you look fantastic! Well done!

Yeah it felt really slow. People have only really got to see the change now though cause I'm now more confidant about my body and I'm wearing cloths that show off my figure more. It feels good to be able to do that again. I put on a load of weight on like 2/3 years ago and I just didn't feel comfortable with myself so I made a change and lost all the weight  .

Try to get to a weight you feel confortable at, whether it be 6 stone, 36 stone, 60 stone or 46656 stone.

I have a weird body, at the start of each day I weigh ~9 stone and by the end of it I weight ~9 stone 10 pounds, so I gain 10 pounds during the day and lose it overnight, easy eh?

18 months ago I was only 7 stone, but after 2 weeks of drinking lots of water I got upto 9 stone (seriously) and have since maintained that weight unfortunately.

Thought it was normal to weight slightly more at the end of the day... I start off just under 9 stone and am a bit over when I go to bed...

1 stone 4 really isn't that much to lose in 6 months. I've lost that amount in a month before and nobody bat an eyelid. your friends are probably just jealous

How did you lose that much in a month  . Now that HAS to be unhealthy.

Indeed... I did a hideously gruelling HIT running training thingy with my friend and I swear.. I lost about a stone in that one hour.

Okay.. I exaggerate slightly.

i know, it was. the point is that yours was nothing near as drastic as it can get and your friends are worrying over nothing.
I dont think you have anything to worry about, just dont lose too much weight.

wow, that's impressive. at that rate i wouldn't think that you have anything to worry about, so long as you're not starving yourself. how did you do it?
