Anon because it's slightly embarassing 
Question is in the title to be honest. I always wear a pad when I wear a tampon because I'm scared of leaking. Do some people just wear the tampon alone?

No i'm using the right tampon - i'm just paranoid!
no because the reason i wer a tampon is because pads dont feel very nice, so if i wear aswell i might aswell not bother with the tampon. i know what you mean though, i worry about leakage but i just make sure ill have chance to change it...if i worry about not being able to, i suppose i could put one on

lol i nvr really managed to wear a tampon. its just not comfotable, so i stick to pads.. haha

What's the point in wearing both? Just wear a pad if the tampons leak all the time. Isn't it a lot of effort changing both every time?
Well not really because pads on their own make me feel dirty - just sitting in my own blood feels disgusting. I very rarely leak from a tampon... in fact I think I have about three times. But one of those times was very embarassing as I was wearing white trousers so ever since then I've worn a pad at the same time! It's just my own paranoia really...
