For recall, on the paper tomorrow, do we have to know how iron and aluminium is extracted? And the equations and stuff? On my syllabus it jus says it depends on how reactive a metal is to how it gets extracted - but im wondering if we have to know how it gets extracted. Thanks.

Noooo.. that's in Patterns of Chemical Change.

Extraction of metals, this is in recall by the way, for modular double science, isn't actually in the recall syllabus, it jus says somethin like "how reactive a metal is how it gets extracted." - thats it.

no haber process stuff!!! yeah, umm there will be things like displacement reactions, extracting metals from their ores and other stuff about alkali and transition metals...anyway extracting metals from their ores wont be in the terminal

I don't think so. I think we'll need to know why Aluminium couldn't be extracted until so recently though and also the other methods of extraction. No equations though.

Because i do double science, therefore my paper has a mixture of all 3 sciences.
