The Nottingham 2010 Applicants Thread

I've applied to do American Studies and History BA but I haven't got an offer yet I'm really worried because I so want to go there!

Is anyone else applying for this / got accepted??

Oh also, has anybody Psychology related got an offer/rejection yet? I saw one person in this thread.. and that's it!

I haven't even been acknowledged for Psych yet and it's where I wanna go! :'(

Me too, if i don't get into Nottingham I'm not really interested in anywhere else. My heart is pretty much set! Though Sheffield is nice too, looks like we're looking at the same places

I haven't had an acknowledgment yet either, but you seemed to have sent it off before me so if you haven't.. i wont get one for a while haha. My friend's doing politics got an offer instantly after she sent it off though :/
I can just imagine that it is such a large department that they will take a while just to get through all the applicants.. hmm, let me know when you get one cause it is driving me crazy!

Yeah, I'm applying for Law.
I think it depends on the course, because there's another boy in my year applying for Law and he got the same letter.

I got an offer....... but I only saw it through track. I thought I would've got something in the post too, but I haven't! I was also hoping that there might be a post application open day (a few people on here have said they have been invited to one) but I haven't heard of anything for my course.

I was wondering......... of the people who have got Nottingham offers have you all had post or an email as well as the offer on track?

And do you know anything about post application open days?

have you had a letter yet? because i only saw it through track too, that's actually why i came here. i thought it was just postal strikes, but i got my offer nearly 2 weeks ago now i think and i've still heard nothing from them. there's also people talking about this portal thing, i've heard nothing about that either :-/ i wish they'd be a bit more consistent...

I emailed in last week because I'm so impatient, and she said that people will start get offers for visit days from now on because they have started doing them from last Wednesday onwards.

But I got a letter on Monday from them asking me to come to a visit day (I think I got it so "early" because she said she'd pass my name on to the people who organise the visit days)

Just FYI that means I got the letter about two weeks after I got the offer on track, so I bet yours is just round the corner too.
