I was thinking catered, but now I'm swaying towards self-catered, as I'll (hopefully) be in a number of music/drama groups if I go there and they'll have rehearsals in the evening, so often I wouldn't be in halls at mealtimes.
Do self catered! I'm at Notts, and it's muuuuuuuuuuuuch better to be self catered. For a start, you have about 3 times all the other students! We're a student village of 2,500... Doesn't that ROCK?
Emsybean, i've also applied for American Studies and History joint honours and also American Studies and Politics. Are you not worried about getting onto the course seeing as though there is only 20 places?! Have you had an offer yet? I really want to do the course and have applied for it at Birmingham too - the year abroad sounds awesome!
