I couldn't make it :frown:
How was it?
thisyear!
hmmm well ucas say that even if the university give you an offer nothing is official until track say conditional/unconditional.
But the same thing happened to me when i applied to loughborough last year, i received an offer letter in the post but it didnt come up on track for like a week!
So i suppose technicly you don't have the offer until it pops up on track but just be patient  x

oh no, is it possible then, that they take back their offer? I replied to the email stating that I was more than delighted to attend the open day and meet up with her and got a reply saying that she's glad to know. (via her admin staff i suppose). But as I checked track and there wasn't any offer updated there, i emailed once again asking for a confirmation on the type of offer i received. (since i applied with actual grades) and the admin lady told me she has forwarded the enquiry to another staff to check for me and that i'll be given an answer shortly. I have not received a reply from the 2nd admin staff's side though! should i be worried? or just wait patienty. :/
Any other History and Politics applicants? I need an Open Day invite as I want to know what the History department is like :/

yeah wasn't bad at all, the Uni is absolutely beautiful and the labs are really nice as well, the halls on campus are all catered though, and tbh I want to go self catered butttt Broadgate park halls aren't that far away at all!
All in all pretty impressed

Great
Yeah, I've been there twice now, so wasn't sure whether it was worth going up again.
Although when I went there, I was pretty much decided about going self-catered so I didn't really look at the halls, but now I'm having my doubts because I would like to be on campus.
Decisions, decisions :o:

The halls are nice, I mean I only saw one of them "Nightingale" I think it was called..It was nice and the rooms really spacious..apparently catered provide 19 meals a week! It would be nice not having to cook but I don't think I eat as much! haha Broadgate park is huge as well apparently houses 2000 students, not bad at all I don't think!

I went and saw Nightingale as well, looked excellent although I don't need bigger rooms.

History will be AAA

I'm still waiting for them to get back to me about History and Ancient History.
I'm now confused! I really want to go to Nottingham and have an offer but it's for a different course to what I wanted to do!

Wanted History and Ancient History but offer is for Archaeology.
UCAS Track update after invitation to Open Day a week ago!
Applied for French and Politics (currently on a gap year). Still waiting on two more unis.

I got an offer for the International Relations and Global Issues course today. Think it's going to be my firm although i'm abit concerned about meeting the grade requirements! Didn't think i'd get an offer as I got a D in Politics AS somehow and didn't mentiontion international relations in my personal statement!

Anyone else got an offer for this? I would like to see if there's anyone here who I might be on the course with, grades permitting!

Wow, well done on getting an offer! If I could get AAA then I'd have applied for it too, but I think I'm going to for the Politics and American Studies course instead

Thanks, I'm quite sure it's just luck or something though! Yeah I'm not sure I can get AAA! Was predicted A*AAB for UCAS but now my predicted gardes are like ABBC! Ahh, i'm finding this year abit harder. The year abroad really attracted me to the course though.
Oh Politics and American studies sounds really interesting! I looked at doing american studies with something and it looked really interesting but I decided I didn't really know enough about it to be sure I would like it.
