Your room is the one that was exactly one floor above mine. Here is a link to the facebook group that i made from last year, there are pictures of my room on it.
Hey, last year i lived in Hawthorns L block (literally the block next door) and frequented M block so i know you will love it (if you have the same cleaner next year then i think you will enjoy it)
I posted this on the freshers thread, but maybe you guys would like to see/get an idea of size. This is my room in E block when I moved out after my first year. Sorry I couldn't get it all in one picture! I was in on of the old traditional blocks, sharing with 36 to a kitchen, 18 girls to a bathroom. Any q's lemme know
Just been offered temporary shared accommodation in Hawthorne. Sounds like hell, has anyone any information/advice?
In my halls last year there were two people that were sharing and they were ok with it. It's not too bad from what i could see, and the idea of half rent to begin with will serve you well for saving money for other things.
Naturally there is a chance you could end up sharing with someone you wouldn't want to, but don't forget that they will be in the same situation as you. Once you receive an offer to move out of the shared room, it is up to the two of you to decide who will stay/leave and the other one keeps the bunk bed and reverts to normal fees whilst the other moves out.
These are pics of my room in S block. 14 rooms, 2 ovens, microwave and 3 fridge freezers. 2 showers with toilets downstairs and 2 baths and 2 toilets upstairs. Wasn't a bad place, the friendliness of everyone made it fab! They move the cleaners every so often but the two we had were lovely. Beware the dodgy dryers in the laundrette tho!
What are the toilets like? Do we get our own cubicles, and do boys and girls share toilets ? (Stupid question but I have a mate that insists they do in Chichester -_-)

Noooo. Boys have their own floor, as do girls with their own toilet, shower ect ...normally about 3/4 toilets in each bathroom. Depending on the block anyways
