I don't even know what that is!

CoveredFarmWa has one from Amazon that was only about £20. She concluded that it was good for the money.

I've got a Phillips one, and it's pink! It's normally £45 from Boots.

Phillips ones now have a "less pain" thing, where you can get a full refund within 90 days if you find it hurts too much. But I think it's not that bad. And it's probably not as bad as you expect

errmmm...stupes questions...but what IS it? it looks like a shaver?

Reply 4

I thought I was quite good with pain...but it seriously hurts, much more than waxing :frown:

Reply 5

It's like a shaver but grabs and plucks hair instead of cutting it. Apparantly the Philips one with the ice block is good.

Don't ask me how I know this

Hmm if that's the best (the one I've got), I don't want to know how the others must feel!

I got the phillips ice block one like 2 years ago for christmas and I'l be honest, it scares the hell out of me!
Its the bloody noise it makes, when you switch it on you just know it aint the noise of a pain free appliance! So me being a coward I have never actually dared to try it!

I bought this one, the braun sp3470 a couple of months ago. Its brilliant, comes with a starter head for first use, and then the efficency clip which grabs more hairs for legs. An ice pack which I dont use for epilation but for headaches  Epilators are one of the worlds greatest inventions.

The one i had was made by someone who hates women i swear ive never experienced pain quite like it!

i'v got a braun one, and it doesnt hurt much, less than waxing does neways. but its given me ingrown hairs on my legs! :frown:

I've just bought a Braun Silk.Epil 3880. I like it! I thought it would be really really painful. It is uncomfortable but nowhere hear as bad ias i thought it would be. Regular exfoliation should help reduce ingrowing hairs but i got those with waxing anyway.

I', probably going to buy one in the next week as summer is coming and im fed up of shaving. Recommendations - especially for someone who has really hairy legs like me :frown:

I've got hairy legs as awell but i've been having my legs waxed so there aren't as many hairs at the moment. If you've waxed you'll have a better idea of what the sensation is like.

Well I can only describe the 'sensation' asagony!
