Ages - when do you want to look younger/older?

Hey
I was just wondering - what is the age where you stop wanting to look older, and want to look younger?

At a rough guess, in men, I would say 25 is when you want to look younger than you are, instead of looking older.

And in women, I think maybe its around 20 or so?

Its the woman one I was most curious about though....

If this doesnt make sense I can try to explain better....

basically there is a turning point age for all off us - is this general or unique to the individual?

it depends to what extent. i mean, in your twenties, you won't want to look so young as to be mistaken for a 15 year old. that would just be embrrassing.

I'd say around 25 for me.
I'd like to look between 19 and 21. (I do, which is peachy.) But no one wants to stay young forever......like Dorian Gray!

I'd like to age gracefully. Julie Andrews does it well.

I am 25 and I tend to get taken for younger but it wouldn't bother me if people thought I was my age.

I don't know...some people grow old gracefully and look great in their 30's, take people like victoria beckham and kate moss. I think madonna also looks great for her age and i think that most people, if they didn't know how old she was, would say that she looks much younger than she actually is.

Obviously everyone wants to look older when they're younger.

I'm 21 and somebody guessed I was 18 last night, which made me very happy!!! I've had people thinking I'm about 24/25 as well though, which I didn't take as a compliment!!

I've always looked younger than I am, which I hated when I was a teenager. I am now 24. Most people think I'm around 20/21 years old, which is great as I'm starting to feel a bit old!!

Between the ages of 14-16 i never used to get id'd for going into clubs but now im 17 i get it constantly but it could be that i lived in doncaster for a long time and then i moved to york when i was 16. I cant wait til september when im 18; im gonna spend about a week getting rat-a***d every night
I don't really want to look any older! I like my age  I think this is the time i would like to start looking my age lol.

Tricky one.

With regards to ID and stuff, it always works the way you don't want it to!

For example, you are classed as an adult at the age of 15/16 when it comes to bus/train travel, yet you're not classed as an adult when it comes to alcohol, cinemas and sex shops!

For me, I'd say I want to look older until I am 24, then after that I'd want to look younger.

Time's running out......

My cousins quite lucky.
She can go out with no make up on flat shoes and get a childs ticket on a bus, but she can dress up and get into all the clubs being 21. Grr

But i just wanna look the age i am. Once you have ID it doesn't matter and when your about 25 you'll regret wanting to look older all those years.

I'll probably want to look younger at about 40. My mum still looks really young now, though. We wear each others clothes all the time, if i age like my mum i will be happy. Really happy
