Guys why do you grope girls?

Obviously question applies only to those men who grope.

I went out clubbing on Friday for the first time for my best friends 18th.
And yeah we did the standard thing: go to as many clubs as possible, dance and drink the whole night away, randomly end in a different city without knowing why or how, stumble in at 6am in the morning etc etc you lot know the drill.

But anyway I was really shocked when : I was at this really busy club and I went with my mate to get a round of drinks. So we were standing at the bar waiting and then suddenly I felt this hand grope my bum really really really hard. I turned around ready to have a go at this guy but, because it was so packed, I couldn’t see who it was. It kind of got me thinking yesterday: why do men do this?

I felt really uncomfortable and disgusted and it put me right off. I also don’t understand why he groped me as I was way more sober then my female friend who was wearing a really shorter dress them me and was really hammered (I had to stop drinking after the second club to keep on eye on her because my female friend was so pissed she would forget she was wearing such a short dress and accidently flashed her knickers on more the one occasion – I was there making sure she still had her dress on her lol). Maybe I did come across as a bit sluttish? I dunno. I just felt really horrible and sick because it was my first clubbing experience and I didn’t expect to get groped – my sisters have been clubbing way way way more then me and wear way more reveaing stuff then me and never never get groped. I was so angry at the guy for ruining my night.

But lads why do you do this?
Have you ever got in to a fight with a girl for doing this or with the girls boyfriend/male freinds?
Girls what do you think?

EDIT: i dont think you understand how hard he groped me so im gonna type up a reply i posted to someone on here:

''And i would'nt be as pissed of if it was a cheeky little pinch - but this guy went full on right in there and stuck his hand really realy hard right under my dress.
I can not get any more graphic then that. I felt disgusting and horrible like i had been molested thats why it ruined my night.''

I would not take it personally.

Im guessing whoever did it was pissed as well, and did it to have a laugh with his mates, I doubt he even saw your face.

Guysgo to clubs because girls do (seriously, of all my friends all the guys hate clubs but the girls love it) and they want to get laid would hint you in the right answer I guess
Drunkenness, horniness, ownership and dominance gestures...

I'm sure it's only a small minority who do it and would be able to give you a sincere answer. I doubt they mean to ruin your evening, though.

I bet he was a right handful.
And girls epect anything else in a club?
I really thought girls would have learnt to expect this kind of behaviour now.
Not that I'm defending it (cos I can't stand guys who do it, it gives the rest of us a bad name), but I'm really suprised it can shock people tbh.

If you're scared of human contact maybe you should just stick to staying in.
I've been groped by girls in a club, it happens. I've never groped a girl though. Actually one time I was in a club, just as I'd seemed to have got over the period of me getting chucked out of clubs and some girl groped me and a bouncer called me over, I thought "Oh no!" my mates all froze and watched me walk over, probably thinking I was going to get kicked out but he laughed and said something about the girl. Then I went back to my mates who were relieved and then had a laugh that I'd been groped by a girl, was much better than getting kicked out lol.

i would personally never do this because its sexual harassment

i've been told though that this is quite common - some guys are just pervs and think its acceptable coz like u said everyone's so close - doesn't excuse it tho -they're just very very childish - its nothing u've done - try not to let it ruin your nights out :frown:
Could have been a dare? :dontknow:

I wouldn't get too upset about it tbh.
Honestly, if you go to clubs you should expect to get groped now and then. Guys do it for fun, because they're drunk or to try and hit on people.

You ask us that as if we're all *****. Just some of us.

It's a dominance thing.

probably just copped a cheeky feel because he could get away with it.
besides, some girls like it

if your sister was groped or had seen people be groped then i seriously doubt she would tell you knowing that you haven't ever been clubbing not wanting to put you off something you should experience.

but to answer your question....busy hands ?
I rarely go to clubs, but I have been groped by girls. And I've never done it to someone myself. So don't think too much about it, guys aren't the only ones who can't keep their hands to themselves!

Maybe the OP is just a bit naive? :dontknow:

I haven't actually done this since I was about 13, but I remember doing it because of peer pressure and because I wanted to get a feel... simple as. Nothing to get upset about. He just did it to have a laugh or he thought you pretty hot but couldn't dare to face you... creepy.

I've never groped a girl like this on purpose and don't understand why someone would. I have however been "groped" If you can call it that by girls to get my attention in a nosy crowded club. I have pinched a girls bum thinking it was a girl I knew and it turned out it wasn't her... I was devastated and bought her and her mates a round while making the most prolific apologies to her and ended up having a date with her the next week as she said most guys buy her dinner before copping a feel.
I had my arse groped a couple of months ago whilst out clubbing. I was wearing a knee length tulip skirt and a strappy top. Nothing particularly slutty.

Men when drunk, get carried away with themselves. That's fine as long as I can grab his balls in a tight fist with my long manicure nails, it's all good. It's a bugger when they do it 'in passing' so you don't have the chance to get 'em back.
