A quick little question:

Oxytocin is often called the "love" hormone. I was wondering from the experienced (relationships-wise) members of this board found that they loved their new partners less and less throughout their relationships.

What do you mean less and less throughout relationships? As in different relationships, or through the same relationship? I loved my first gf much more than I could ever love my second gf if thats what you mean.

Love comes from the soul, not a 'hormone', silly! :hmmm: Have you ever seen one of these so called 'hormones'?

You got the suffix on bond wrong. :frown:

I love my boyfriend much more now than when I first met, but it's more of a comfortable , friendly love. When you first meet it's very new and exciting, learning about each other and then things settle down and you don't behave the same way you did in the beginning. But the love is still there, and for me, it gets stronger cos we're comfortable, happy, experiencing new things together.
