If the flats have two floors, if i'm in (for example) flat G.02.XXX then would someone in 1.02.XXX be in the same flat as me? or is that flat 3 of a different floor a different flat entirely?

I swear the flats are on top of each other. Flat 6 is ontop of flat 5 floor 1 for example. So I'm viewing it as 16 people in a flat cause whats to stop you from going upstairs?

I thought it was basically two flats of four on two stories attached together but called a single 'flat' (because you can't really call it a house), with four boys downstairs and four girls upstairs? But then does the upstairs count as being on a separate floor?

It's so confusing.

I swear that you have 4 boys on ground floor. Then 4 girls on floor 1. Then we have another flat ON TOP with 4 boys on floor 3 and then we have 4 girls on floor 4. At least thats how I understand it!

What?? that seems really illogical wouldn't that just all count as the same flat? hahah this is confusing - what made you think that?

I was speaking to my flatmate on fb, and thats the impression she gave me. But seeing as 4 girls nd 4 guys share the kitchen and bathroom facilities then I guess that what makes it a flat.

**** me, this is confusing.

Oh well, the more people the better!

So do 16 people share one front door?

As far as I'm aware each building has 4 (or was it 8?) flats in it. Each flat is on 2 floors with 4 lads on the lower floor and 4 girls on the upper floor. There's a "lads" bathroom on the lower floor and a "girls" one upstairs. The communal area(s) is on the lower floor. For instance flat 5 is on both the ground and first floor. Flat x is on the second and third floor above flat 5.

I don't get how it works on space, because surely if the communal area is on the downstairs floor what the hell is taking up that space on the upper floor?
N!ck

Girly stuff
Last night OhNO! explained it to me pretty damn well. You have a block of 2 flats, one on top of the other, thats facing another block whilst being opposite another. So essentially flats 1 -4 are all really near each other. Then flats 5 - 8 are all near each other and so on.

What time you planning on arriving? I'll be going tomorrow to get my key and see what I can't fit in the room ready for moving in on Saturday.
