I saw loads of people drink before our exams. But then the seating arrangements were posted in the bar after all :ninja:

    Good luck everyone with exams!

I wish the weather would brighten up!

Have spent the last few weeks at the mercy of the NHS as a relative rather than a student and its been very interesting. I have lots of opinions on everyone treating my nan, probably because i'm biased and oversensitive but still, i have learnt a lot!

I honestly don't know how people cope with being carers full time.

Oh! I know exactly how you feel! My nan has just spent over a week in hosptial for a hip replacement, and I'm sure I was the visitor from hell as far as staff were concerned. To be honest they were negligent, and I did trigger the reporting of two clinical incidents...

Makes you wonder about the poor sods without quasi-medical reles!

    Yes.

Understand that as well as having rather serious exams today, monday, wednesday and thursday I also have a major event to run tomorrow, monday, wednesday and friday. I have several contacts worth thousands of pounds, which will ruin said events, up in the air and I am under rather threatening pressure from several members of staff at QMSU. Tonight I expect to be working - doing strenuous, difficult, dangerous and diplomatic work - until after midnight, tomorrow I will be doing the same 1000-0500 and on sunday I will be revising.

Are you supprised that I haven't slept properly (at all) in the last two weeks?

Alcohol is classic coping behaviour; it allows me some sleep.

    **** off. Please.

I got to speak to quite a lot of carers for a project I did before uni, and I found myself wondering just that. Over and over.
