Its a single sex college, but you'd still have things like lectures and tutorials in mixed groups, you just live with all girls.

No universities are single sex. There are some single sex colleges though, and I think Hilda's is a girls only college.

thanks very much for this,is anything I should be aware in interview, what should I wear?

I would suggest going to the interview dressed reasonably smartly. The only thing to be aware of is that the interviewers are not trying to trick you, rather they are seeing how you can apply your existing knowledge to new situations. Good Luck.

This is what I would wear if I was invited to an interview at St.Hilda's; green pants with picture of a female Che Guevara and the word "SHE" (Che/SHE, get it?) and a retro top with a "girlsteam" banner *nevermind, just fantazing about how it would be to actually get an interview*

I was just a bit dissapointed to hear that people with lower predicted grades than mine got interviews at other colleges (for PPE), when Teddy said the reason I was rejected was my predicted grades...

(mods, if you hear any more complaining from me, feel free to delete it).

Well at least you got an offer from Durham, and you said before you were rejected that you might go there anyways. Cheer up Linda, now you get to live in a castle, and you won't have to go through nervewrecking interviews just to find out that they don't want you. That's what's gonna happen to me.

Ps: see i can be nice, unlike you who wants me to get rejected by oxford.

I see you have searched the forums. The thing is, I would love to have an interview, just to see what it was like, and I was so looking forward to meeting Stephen Blamey for the first time after hearing so much about him and all... And I don't want you to get rejected from Oxford, I just said that it would make me feel better if you were rejected too. And yes I will be extremely jealous when you get in.
At least I'm honest.
