I have yeah, it smells icky, but it does the job, it hurts alittle bit less than the usual nair stuff, just make sure yu leav it on long enough else you will end up having to pull at loose ends and that blody well hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!

It lasts quite a while as well, longer on blokes though ( i used a pot to wax some guys at school 4 charity - now they said it hurt lots + lots but liked the smell  )

It's really good except excess wax is difficult to get off. I had it stuck to my legs for days and when I finally got it off in the shower it got stuck to the shower floor. I think it gets better with practise though. I found Immac strips useless, so I'd definately say this is better.

to get it off either use nail polish remover or fairy liquid

i mean the lil excess bits of wax!
hmm, so it lasts quite a long time? as long as like direct waxing?

yes.

Basically instead of spreading on wax you spread on plastic, and then when it dries you rip the plastic off and throw it away. There's no stickyness, so I find it really good because it's less messy. With normal wax I have problems with getting it everywhere, my hands, arms, face and then it's impossible to get off, but with this you can just wait for it to dry (thats only a few seconds if it's only a little bit) then pick it off. Same goes with getting it on surfaces and taps and stuff, and the pot stays clean and non-sticky so it doesn't get all skanky between uses.

can you use it as a bikini wax as well?
how long does it last?

It lasts as long as normal wax, it pulls out the hairs just the same. I It actually gets more of the hairs because the plastic (it's probably not actually plastic but that's the easiest way to describe it) goes on to your skin and then the hair dries into it, whereas wax it doesn't dry entirely so when you pull the strips off some of the hair can come out of the wax.

I have used it on my bikini line with no problems, I find it much better because you don't have to use giant strips, you just put on as much as you need, and you have more free hands and can pull it off in whatever direction you want. And with wax I always had a problem with residual stickiness, so I'd stand up and my legs would get stuck together! As you can tell, stickiness is a big deal to me, with wax I get into such a sticky mess and the pot get's all stuck together and fluff sticks to it aaarggggh. With Nair you don't get any of that, it's so clean and neat.

ooo, ta. thanks for the good response
one last thing, i've got quite sensitive skin, do you reckon it'd give me a rash if i used it? especially for the bikini line area?
shaving usually reacts to me, the only thing that doesn't tend to react is that veet/immac cream, but then it smells so horrible!!! :p:

Immac is ok for the top of your thighs but not if you are doing a proper brazillian, as it says on the packet it's "not for use on sensitive membrane areas".

If I shave regularly I do get a rash round there, but when I wax I get red dots where the hairs were for a few hours but nothing more than that. I have a problem with ingrown hairs that no amount of exfoliating seems to solve, but that's just me and you'd get that whatever wax product you use. Most people find that if you exfoliate regularly you don't get ingrown hairs, the only way you know how you will react is if you try it!

How long does this stuff last?
I'm stuck between gettin this stuff or gettin it done professionaly, i really can't decide. But waxing has never worked for me and i've got tonnes of tubs and stuff that never worked. Even the creams don't work on me so i've always been stuck with shaving. So I don't wana go out and waste more money if its not going to work...:s-smilie:
However, I'm a bit scared to get it done professionaly because I've never been before and I think i'd be uncomfortable showing hairy legs to someone....hmmmmm i really don't know
3-4 days, a little longer than shaving.
Stick strictly to the time limits in the instructions to prevent getting chemical burns.
Might need repeat applications if your hair is coarse, but never any more frequent than once in 24 hours (and if it says 48 on the box, observe that).
Main benefit over shaving is that stubble is less obvious as the tips are rounded.

Thanks

I may go for propa waxing first and then come back to Nair after my holiday because I want something with a longer effect first

If you have them done professionaly, how long do the hairs have to be?
