I roughly know where that is, it'll be the 4th building down from reception on the right, 3rd floor and it's one of the 6 bed units. I'm in A2

They FINALLY sorted it and allocated me to Ellison house, Apartment One 1, room B. Though they seem to be stalling in accepting the Deposit over the phone for some reason.

Poppleton is A2, it's 2 blocks down. Can't remember the name though

I'm really annoyed. I reserved my room from last year as I liked the block and couldn't be bothered to move my stuff out over the summer only to move it back in again. Anyway, I still havn't heard from Pavilions, I had to send a cheque for my first month deposit as they wouldn't do it over the phone.

One of my friends had a problem moving in the other day, he got to his room, only to find that someone else was living there!! They then told him that he could either go to another room or he could be released from his contract. Apparently half of the flats havn't been cleaned from last year.

Now, according to the welcome pack, everyone was supposed to be e-mailed their room allocation 7 days before moving in and that never happened.

Grrr, why did I agree to live in this **** **** for another year? Oh, and why do they never answer their phone?

My room wasn't cleaned, it had 7 dishwashers when I moved in. Still missing some furniture (studio) and I'm going to have a good moan at them tomorrow when reception opens.

In Poppleton house too, although further down

No offence to their staff, as I’m sure they are busy. But honestly, they really know how to do things the most inefficient way humanly possible. It took me 3 days to get through just to pay my deposit, after being told that I would be called back repeatedly.
They're phones are always busy and it takes usually 10 tries to get through to them.

I would suggest calling them (by any means) and they should tell you you’re room number.

Well, they still havn't taken the money out of my account for the first months rent, despite sending the cheque almost two weeks ago. What is the betting that they've lost it? Then they'll make me pay by card, and then eventually find the cheque and cash it too! They did that last year.

I really want to get my keys so I can move stuff in and I don't really wanna do it during freshers weekend when the first years are arriving!

They didn't ask for any evidence when I went to get my keys, just asked if I'd paid. Of course I said yes (to be honest I still don't know if they've taken the money)
