Can I ask, what book and disc? Even though I have accommodation and have even set up all the library things, I have never heard of a book and disc.
There are pool tables in Plug and Parade, but they are in really bad condition. I'm afraid I don't know about snooker clubs in Bath.

are there an snooker tables on campus? because in the jump into bath book under sports section they say they have 2 but don't know if's outdated or anything
Parade and Plug are the pub & bar on campus.
Parade has one, Plug has about four. Parade's table is in better condition, if you can get on it.

Edit: Sorry, misread your question. I've never heard of a snooker table on campus, you could try emailing someone in the sports assoc to find out?

It's in the Bath freshers pack that comes through the post. I got mine yesterday. Not watched it yet though...

went on bath website and apparently there are snooker tables at the sulis club wherever/whatever that may be

Sulis club is off campus perhaps a 30 min walk towards combe down i.e. away from town on the main road into the uni (it also has a basic gym that you can join for £5 a year if you don't fancy paying multiple hundreds for the STV gym). I've never actually been there so I don't know what the pool tables are like though I'm afraid.

and while the plug and level 1 pool tables end up wrecked by the end of the year (the cue's end up in awful condition) they do tend to fix them up and buy new balls/cues over the summer

oh and as a tip the level 1 tables cost 50p the plug ones 70p but if you put a quid in the plug ones nine times out of ten it gives you two games.

hope that helps

No waaaaaay
Took me and my mate about 20 minutes to walk over to the Sulis Club, though we did take the shortcuts through fields lol.
There are 2 tables there. They aren't in great condition, but their ok.
Not sure about other clubs in Bath.

Its owned by the uni.
What I mean is that is isn't as good as a proper snooker club would be. However, the tables and balls themselves are fine (or were when we went down there). I'd take your own cue though.

don't have my own cue atm XD play every now and then but want to get properly into it. Need to buy one but they are a bit pricey :p: as long as the tables are a good quality that sounds good.

Ah fair enough.
I use the pool cue I have. Its a little smaller than a proper snooker cue, but its fine to use really.

I don't know if their doing it this year, but last year in Freshers week they ran a pool tournament in the SU which was good. Me and my housemate won the doubles tournament.
