the bbc french (ok its afrique) but its still french. u can get it online, and if u listen to the bit about britain, its intresting too. ive got it on right now while revising history
the bbc isnt. and also you can listen to past programmes over and over. and it just gets ur ear into french mode
Theres a french channel on freewview, TV5 i think. You can try that.
Ive never really thought it possible to revise french listening.
Yeh I have that tomorrow too. I hate listening though, they always speak really fast and use synonyms. Best thing is to read vocab and listen to french radio i guess.
French Is The C***pest Subject Ever!!!!
I hate french listening, They go too fast, and I end up not knowing what they're saying. I just make things up. O well. I think the listening would be easier last year, because last year was so hard, but they'll make the reading harder.
i dont think its that bad... last year, it was 25 out of 40 for an A... lets try for an A*... 30 or something like that for an A*???? easy... to get that many marks, i mean, not the test overall...
grapefruit girl- can you post a link s'il vous plait? (there's some french revision for you right there)
if anyone wants a .doc vocabulary document for all the french, pm me your email address and its yours!
ill do that in a minute...
ok, well im listening to reaally fast french radio, and trying to keep up for dear life. my strategy is, to do one normal listening exercise online, then do the radio thing, panic, then go into the exam, and be relieved because everything will be soo much slower.
or, what worked for me in the mocks, and what wont make you as bored, is to find a dvd where u can change the language, and watch it at least twice, once with english sound and french subtitles, and once with just french. I did that with 4 dvd sets of sex and the city and it really works!! and i never get bored of sex and the city. lol
