For all you studying for the S1 Edexcel exam tomorrow, you may find this useful:

You can download the fully worked model solution for Edexcels S1 specimen paper for free using the following link:
http://www.examsolutions.co.uk/Pdf_S...S1Specimen.pdf The worked solution contains hints and tips to help solve the questions in the paper, and has a few general exam hints in it. Its a big file so may take some time to download.

If you haven't tried the specimen paper, its got some tricky questions in! It can be downloaded for free from Edexcel at http://www.edexcel.org.uk/VirtualCon...r_mkscheme.pdf

Looks like some good stuff. I'll try the specimen paper later.

However, if there's anything that will ensure you get a good grade for S1 its knowing where mistakes are easily made. Usually the method in S1 is easy in my opinion its just the easy mistakes that lose you marks. A friend said to me today that the product moment correlation coefficient questions were the easiest but they're also very easy to lose marks on if you're not careful!
