What is the 'Temporomandibular Joint'?
It's a joint of your jaw. When you chew up things, it should function in a normal grining way. But, when it (TMJ) is out of place, you can have bad face muscle pains. Sometimes, it starts in early 20's in some patients including myself. It can be worsen when you are becoming aged.
You see, when you have an insomnia problem with high anxiety (or stress), you tend to grind your teeth or clinch them (Buxism) while you are in sleep. I've been seeing a TMJ specialist, and he made dental appliances (they look like a mouth guard for boxers) for me about a year ago. I wear it before I go to sleep. My health insurance took care of the cost (c.$2,500 for a couple of them for the upper and lower teeth), so it was great.

Taking the sleeping pills last night saved my life today!

Up and not even tired. I imagine I will be by 11 tomorrow when I have my seminar though!

I was hoping to rely on sweetnfresh2 to stay up too, never mind. I can just talk to myself :p:

;hello; Daz,

I collaped into my bed around 8:30 p.m. after my sleeping pills started to kick into my system. I had a sound sleep till 11:00 p.m.:toilet: After that, my brain was awaken, but I couldn't move my body because my body was in sleep. I had to drag myself out of my bed at 8:30 this morning. I was feeling like a Zombi for a while.:eek3: But, my focusing ability's been improving. It saved my life and spirit. :hahaha:

Oh yeh.. I have an 'english jaw' whatever that means. I used to grind my teeth, and they gave me braces to fix my bite because they think I could develop problems like you mentioned when I'm older. Unfortunately NHS does not cover braces unless its critical, so it was private and my parents paid for the first half of the treatment (in SA) and my Gran for the second half (over here)

:hello:

It's so cold here! The temperature went down to 30F tonight. There is a "deep-freezing" operation going on in this city from tonight for a few days. Some city officials are trying to help homeless people offering them warm foods and shelters. I think it's cool.

Unbelievable Craggy... Elements hands you something you can at least try to make fun of me for, and you turn it down :p:

Fair enough, you knew what I'd say to that - what you said - but still... :p:
