There were 100 posts in here last night, it's not dead and it still does job the perfectly. It's not as active because people are busy. And if it goes into chat every single 17 year old will see it and try to spam it with nonsense while over here, renal, terpineol Wagners and Hygeia still find it accessible to drop in occasionally for a natter and the things people say are somewhat intelligent [sometimes :h:

yes but majority of the 100 posts were made by non medics. If it's anything like this thread, the 17 year olds would just get too frightened and run off. This thread is pretty good at shooing people off.

hygeia has posted 82, terp 15, renal 54, wangers 2... this is probably too seldom for it to be called occasional.... or?

and after that whole fight whatever **** thing i dont think many people will return to this thread anyway.

though even if they do, you have to admit the thread's not what it used to be. I used to love this thread and all the people, the bant etc. etc. but times have changed. People are too busy, or just not on tsr much. Moving this thread to Chat gives us a way to still communicate yet relieve Hygeia of the burden of modding this thread [we are a pain right now. seeing as this is technically chat but still in the med forum and it's not really medically related chat that it used to be either]. No point in holding onto something that's already gone and passed. At least that's what I feel.

It's exactly the same as before. Before there was still non-medics around, there was never any medically related chat, we were still a pain to Hygeia. The only difference is there are different people chatting and you don't relate so you're not enjoying it as much, so it has to be moved.
